Misleading/imprecise description
From the description and the pictures provided in the catalogue, it appeared that the device had an on-board socket accepting the mains wire. Upon purchase it turned out that instead of that the device had a segment of the mains wire hanging out of its back panel. To connect this tail to the mains would have necessitated a purchase of an extra adapter box for outdoor use. Returned the device.

The Luceco Slimline 10W LED PIR Floodlight has an integrated LED module, which is integral to the Floodlight. because it is part of the Floodlight, it cannot be removed and changed.

They come with the wire but no plug , but they are unreliable anyway I would recommend buying a better brand .

Yes it will work as soon as it is plugged in and you can adjust the duration of the time that you want it to stay on .
Lower the time setting on the back, this should shorten time to almost nothing if necessary. If this doesn’t work I suspect the unit is faulty. I cannot set my sensitivity low enough to stop it coming on in daylight so suspect I have a faulty unit too. Hope this helps?
