This is the process here. You rotate the crown while in position 1 to align the mode hand with alarm [ALM] mode as indicated on the mode sub dial. The hands will move to the following positions:

- Second hand: Points to the 30-second position.
- 24-hour hand, hour hand, minute hand: Will move to indicate the time at which the alarm is set.
- Pull the crown out two steps to position 2. The alarm setting is automatically turned ON.
- Rotate the crown to adjust the time to when the alarm should sound.
- Rotate the crown to the right (clockwise) 1 click to move the hour hand and minute hand clockwise. Or rotate the crown to the left 1 ‘click’ to move the hour hand and minute hand counter clockwise. Quickly Rotate the crown 2 or more clicks consecutively to advance the hands rapidly. Rotate the crown to the left or right by 1 click to stop rapid advance.
- After the alarm time has been set, return the crown two steps to its normal position. This completes setting the alarm.

I watched the video before i bought the watch. Its a different model from the photo but the eco drive is the same.
Personally i like it, good watch.
