High quality, strong and easy to use
I purchased this trimmer because of its metal comb. I have previously owned a number of Philips trimmers but the plastic combs were always flimsy and would break after a few months of beard grooming. I have now been using this for 6 months and it is brilliantly sturdy. The metal comb and attachment plastic comb are both very strong. The blade is sharp enough and increases power when it feels increased resistance. The battery life is also outstanding, I use the trimmer in 30-45 minute sessions and it only requires charging after 5-7 sessions. I’m very happy with my purchase. My only gripe is that there is no room for the plastic comb in the leather carry - slight oversight from Philips there.

The best a man can get
I bought this for my son in law's birthday. He's very keen on male grooming and said it's the best beard trimmer he's ever had and is really impressed with the overall quality. Very pleased I paid the extra for a really good product.

Adjustable, quality and sleek
The very best from Philips, no gimmicks. Easily adjustable. Quality materials and great build. Never had a beard trimmer with these many adjustment options, the best thing is that it's all self contained, no attachments required, no guards required and battery goes on forever. Best shaver you can travel with. That said, it's not a cheap product...

The beard trimmer is fine. The trimmer does not fit in the supplied case with the comb allowing for 5.4 - 10mm trimming, which is an essential part of the device function. Every time I buy a Philips product I am punished for it in some way, this will be the last.

I’ve threatened to purchase this trimmer since becoming a beardsman 6 years ago, finally committed to seeing what all the hype was about and yes I can confirm it’s the best I’ve used, particularly without the extra 5-10mm comb. Short beard or stubble this is the one to have !

Lovely soft whiskers
Used this a few times - I trim my whiskers once a week to around 2mm (from around 6-8mm) and it does the job perfectly and they are not “spikey” afterwards. Bought it as a treat at £100 and glad that I did.
