Great indoor toy
My two year old grandson loves this, as doe hi four year old brother, ideal for two years and above. One of the handles keeps coming off, but can be easily slotted in. I bought it on the sale and it was good value at that price.

Ride on excavator
I bought for my son's 4th birthday he loves excavators. Very happy and the price is just right. Even my older son plays with it. The only thing I struggle was with the stickers that you decorate the excavator, has no instructions were they go but I fallow the pictures on the box and on Argo's site.

Almost perfect
This was bought for my 2y9m child and they immediately loved it. There's some minor assembly required and has a lot of stickers to add. It is a bit flimsy at the digger arm mechanism as it is all plastic. It's fine for a toddler but wouldn't last the day with my 5year old nephew. He almost damaged the digger part when he played with it.

The Chad Valley Foot To Floor Excavator is purely a ride-on toy without batteries which your son would have to propel along himself. The height from floor to seat is 25cms so hope this will help in deciding whether it is big enough etc.
