I bought VAX Blade about week ago I have used about half a dozen times, the vacuum is very good if not better than my Dyson V8 which I have for about 5 years , The negatives the battery only last about 20 Minutes on standard power and about 10 to 15 minutes on full power , I will probably get a extra battery at some time,

Great Hoover at price….so far
Been using a couple of weeks to replace an old Dyson, so far so good, x2 modes for wood floor and rugs / carpet, decent suction on both floors, good run time on battery, cleaned 4 bed house twice before needing to charge. Barrel that collects rubbish seems big enough as well, a little heavier but nothing major.

I bought this after reading a good review on Good Housekeeping's website and I have not been disappointed. Excellent performance and high quality construction. A good range of tools and I especially like the small powered head for stairs and tight corners.

Blocks easily doesn’t pick up hair
I have preserved with this for quite a while now but still find it blocks easily both in the pipe and around the brush head which the hair tangles around and has to be cut with scissors. It actually sends dust out rather than picking it up. The battery doesn’t last long either I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this product.

Great attachments special if i need to hover
This hoover is brilliant I always bought Henry hoovers till now this one is so powerful for a cordless one aswell and light too.

The Vax ONEPWR Blade 4 Dual Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner does not fold down but can be disassembled (the handheld section and floor head can be detached) in order to store away.

The filter is washable, dry it over a radiator & make sure that it is completely dry before using it the Vax.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier they have advised: The dirt container can be wiped with a damp cloth to keep it clean. We would not recommend washing it though as it would take a while to dry and may cause damage to it.

I would not fully immerse it in water. You can of course clean the inside with a damp cloth, sanitised if you want, but I use a small brush to get to get the dirt out around the centre column.

The manufacturer only directly lists indoor usage options but it does have a number of tools such as a crevice tool and others and does not have a cable to act as a hindrance. However, we'd advise against it's use outside or in damp conditions. Subject to being able to access the interior of the car with it, it would technically be possible to use it to clean the upholstery and carpets in a car (often carpets are removable and can be cleaned separately anyway).
