Great upgrade from previous version
I have this in my living room. It’s response time seems a lot quicker than the previous versions. The removable sections is also a slightly different shape so it’s easier to grab and release from its magnet too so it doesn’t slip out of your fingers.

Well made remote with multi-function . however, top and bottom are not very clicky. you have to press the centre of the button, otherwise it may not register the click properly. otherwise, nicely made remote.

We now each have a switch by the bedside
Got this so my partner and I can control our own individual bedside lamps. I also programmed it so I can turn off or on, all the lights in the house, as I am usually the last to go to bed. Takes up little space and works very well. We can also control the brightness of our bedside lights.

Simple setup works like charm.
I purchased the switch to expand on the Phillips hue light I have put into our kitchen. Only thing it could do more is to have an option for pressing and holding the power switch to switch on all the lights in the house magnets that hold it to the switch plate could do with being stronger

Very easy to pair and use
Initially this was paired using just the bluetooth function without the hue bridge. But later I got a hue bridge and repaired it with the bridge. Either way, it worked very well. No nails or screws are needed. You can just stick it to the wall or wherever you like it to be

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips Hue V2 Smart Indoor Dimmer Switch:
The switch can be associated with a room, area or a single light/bulb. You can also associate more than one Hue dimmer switch to the same room/area/product.
Once the switch has been added to a product(s) to control, you can use the Hue app to personalize the settings of your Dimmer switch. To do so follow the steps below:
Open the Hue app;
Tap Settings;
Tap Accessory setup;
Tap your Dimmer switch to customize what each button does on one or more presses.

This Argos rep has absolutely no idea what shes talking about. It most definitely can control the Hue Plug. I have huge ecosystem and within this I have 2x hue remotes controlling 2x hue plugs.

Thanks for your query about the Philips Hue V2 Indoor Dimmer Switch.
This cannot be used with regular lightbulbs. It works with certain smart bulbs, working with the Phillips Hue bulbs of course but can also work with other bulbs that are Zigbee (not Wi-Fi) based.
