Maternity support belt
I purchased this not for pregnancy as I’m not pregnant but as I have a prolapse and I am really struggling with my stomach being heavy and painful and pain and pulling in my lower back. It hides under clothes and really does support the lower stomach area. I feel like I have someone hugging my stomach 😊

It’s ok!
Hard to get the band tight enough to give good support as it does up at the back. Needs to alight almost perfectly as the Velcro is as wide as the band so for not straight it rubs against skin or other clothing. Label is also sawn on next to the Velcro so often gets in the way. Still usable and has helped me.

I bought this to help support my belly after a major operation but found not only did it not fit around me properly when I bent it rolled up Maybe if I'd have had a firm pregnant belly it would have worked better but it was worth a shot

After checking with our supplier they have advised: 'Maternity belt provides the support to pregnant women during long-time sitting/walking/standing. (If the users do not feel uncomfortable while sitting, not necessary to wear it when sitting.)
But we do not suggest the users to wear the belts while sleeping or lying down. We suggest every 1-2 hours to take off the belt for 15 minutes to rest and prevent allergy or uncomfortableness.'

Maternity belts are designed to help with pelvic girdle pain, (PGP/SPD) which can include symptoms of back, hip, pelvic and groin pain.
My physio recommended that I wear the belt differently to the picture shown, to be more compressive around the hips and not trying to raise the bump by putting more stress on the lower back; my midwife advised me not to wear it sitting down - although your healthcare providers may advise you differently based on your personal circumstances.
