About this product
This walk-in greenhouse lets you grow flowers, vegetables and plants throughout the year. It's made from a steel frame with a weather-resistant polyethylene cover that protects your plants from the elements. The zip-down, roll-up front door gives you easy access when you're tending to seedlings and checking on growth. Two gridded shelves hold pots and trays, while the open floor space accommodates larger plants or garden tools.
The portable design means you can move it around your garden to find the best growing spot. Ground pegs secure it during windy weather so it stays in place. Assembly is quick for one person and doesn't need any special tools. You'll have flexible growing space that works hard for your garden all year round.

Customers Say
Affordable and spacious greenhouse with easy assembly; good for beginner gardeners and growing various plants. However, stability issues, flimsy materials, and poor shelf quality are common complaints.

Don’t waste your money
This is poor value for money. It lacks stability due to the fact it only has one shelf and, unless you open the door, there is no ventilation.. The shelf material is cheap and flexible…….it’s rubbish and if I could give it a zero I would. A friend bought one from Lidl last year that was cheaper, had 4 shelves and was far better quality.

Great greenhouse
Its ok as a greenhouse. However the guy lines are not the best. It fits the frame great, door zips well with no tightness. Easy frame to put together, easy instructions. You have the two shelves then one side is without which will be great for tomatoes etc... but loads of space. I would probably buy it again.

i bought this a month ago, very strong, easy to put up, and great against the wind

Seems sturdy and time will tell.
We have just build this greenhouse, it looks and feels fairly sturdy. Time will tell if it survives this summer and next winter. We used our nectar points which enabled us to purchase at a reduced price. Let's see what happens.

Terrible quality
Very unstable. Blew over the first night after I had put it together. Then put it back up with several bags of compost weighing down the base and it still blew over and three of the plastic joints had ripped in half. Then tried putting them back together with duct tape and the same thing happened again. Had to take it to the tip. Save your money

Hubby loves it. Went together really easy with no problems

Great for the money
I bought this greenhouse around a month ago, and it has stood up to the British autumn weather very well so far. It is dry easy to build and surprisingly spacious inside. I will probably throw a tarpaulin over the top to secure it fully for the winter months.

Thank you for using Q&A
Hi Chelsea,
Yes, the twin pack of McGregor shelves can fit in the McGregor Large Walk In Greenhouse.
McGregor Large Walk In Greenhouse:
Height: 190 cm Width: 125 cm Depth: 185 cm
McGregor Shelves (Twin Pack):
Each shelf unit: Height: 80.5 cm, Depth: 28.5 cm
The greenhouse has ample height and depth to accommodate the shelves without making the space overly tight. You should still have enough room to move around and tend to your plants.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Podge,
I can advise the following for the McGregor Large Walk In Greenhouse:
Apologies, the main beams for the shelves are part of its structure and do require to be built. Not doing so will hinder its structural integrity.
Thanks for using Q&A.
The shelving is part of the structure, but you don't have to attach the wire part if you don't want to.
Hello Monty,
The supplier has advised the following on the McGregor Large Walk In Greenhouse:
“ The density of the polyethylene cover is 130gsm. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
No idea, but ours perished within the first year. Got a replacement via Argos but it was a lot less resilient than I’d hoped for.
This last weekend tested mine as only bought in the summer . Properly went over and twisted however little damage done and has rebuilt as new.
Hi Taxi,
The manual advises:
"Do not position the greenhouse in an area exposed to excessive wind. In winter, regularly remove snow from the roof to avoid dangerous snow loading, Do not rely on the greenhouse as your shelter during extreme weather." To ensure stability, the greenhouse must be on a flat, level surface and the greenhouse must be anchored properly.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Probably not. I’ve got one at home and one down my allotment. In an open area it could easily blow away, I’ve sunk it under some earth and attacked wooden stakes for my allotment one. The garden one is great, it’s in a sheltered spot but I wouldn’t use them over the colder months. The wind would blow holes in it, it’s only plastic. Great over the milder months though.
If on grass it will need pegging down. If on flags, I would suggest placing bricks on the bottom poles to keep it in place. Also, if its windy, make sure the door is zipped up.
Hi Steven,
No, this would not be suitable for use with a JML snap screen.

Sadly, I bought this thinking replacements would be available but annoyingly was told no when I phoned the spare parts line enclosed with the product. So why include contact number ??? no point at all
Hi Maggie,
Sorry, we do not have replacement parts for this greenhouse.
Thanks for using Q&A,
I sprayed my zips with wd40 works perfect
as i cannot find how to review this as my order no longer exists, might be a way of negating the guarantee as you need proof of purchase, if you buy this go to BQ ect and but strong tape as you will need it built is as instructed it blew away pegs are useless zip has burst i spent about the same securing it as i did buying it
Hi, I have not had a problem yet, but only had a month. My view on zips, They are light weight, cheap nasty, not I would expect. Thought would be a good heavy duty. But the whole frame and connectors are cheap and nasty too.
