The metal components of the teapot are made from two types of stainless steel.
The lid and mid-frame are 202 grade, while the infuser is 304 grade; both are food grade.

The glass is made of Borosilicate Heat-resistant Glass, the silver fitting are made of stainless steel.

The Argos Home Round Glass Teapot is not designed for use on any hob. To use, simply add your tea of preference and add boiling water from the kettle or boiling water dispenser.

This isn't to boil water, it's to brew tea. You would add boiled water to this along with tea leaves or tea bags to allow it to be brewed.
