Knob isn't a good shape to grip to pull the door open, especially if you have nice fingernails like my wife. Our old safe was better - please send a better knob !

If I could refer you to the instructions manual at the bottom of the product information. This is a PDF file and shows you how to over ride the safe if you accidentally lock yourself out of it.
