An attractive and good looking lamp. Value for money. Seam on the shade is a little thick but I turn it to the back and it’s not noticeable. Just the right size for a bedside lamp

Not suitable as a desk lamp
The light can not be direct onto horizontal surfaces. Can’t really focus light on the book or surface. It’s more suitable as a bed side lamp compared to a desk lamp.
