I purchased this to explore my 5YO child's nascent interest in the Pokémon TCG. There's enough in this set to determine if your child is ready for or interested in the experience the game offers. Enough glossy bits to make it aesthetically pleasing for them too. Just what we needed over spending silly amounts of money on foil packs.

"You can you use your own decks in Battle Academy, however, you can not mix the Battle Academy decks with outside decks as this will put the decks off balance."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Pokemon TCG: Battle Academy 856/6591: This product comes with 3 pre-made decks. This means that inside each product, the decks will all be the same. There is no random element with these decks.
