I bought this Blink outdoor Security Camera three weeks ago and it works perfectly. Very easy to fit to the Floodlight Base unit, and easy to link into the Home Sync Module.

When it's at the edge of WiFi coverage, it works ok but the notification comes through a good 10-15 seconds late. I might move it closer to the router.

Great Camera, reasonably priced
Gives a brilliant clear image, easy to use, easy to set up and review images. The audio is a little inconsistent that's why ive given a 4/5 but I think issue is to do with our WiFi.

A Blink Outdoor camera can be up to 100 feet (30m) away from its Sync Module in standard conditions, with the Sync Module needing to be within 100 feet of the wireless router for the whole system to work.

"Yes, motion detection can be turned off on a Blink Outdoor Wireless camera. To disable it, navigate to the camera's settings within the Blink app, then go to Motion Settings and toggle the Motion Detection option to "Off". This will prevent the camera from recording motion events and sending motion notifications"

The Blink Outdoor Wireless Smart CCTV Security Add-On Camera does not need an Alexa device. The camera can function independently with the Blink app on your smartphone, allowing you to view live footage, receive motion alerts, and communicate through two-way audio.

Yes but turn night vision off so no halo on the window. No good if night vision is needed.

Yes, but at night you may have a "Halo" effect around the camera on the window pane as the night vision will be used and reflected back from the window if not positioned correctly. If there is plenty of light where you want to point it outside the window then you can turn off the night vision.

Its the camera only. It doesnt need other cameras to work but it does need a sync module to work. The dearer camera tge same as this has a sync module included in the pack. You can use up to ten cameras per sync module.

The Blink Outdoor Wireless Smart CCTV Security Add On Camera 844/9742 only works in connection with other Blink Outdoor Cameras, it does not work on it’s own. It can be used with the Blink Outdoor Wireless Battery Smart HD CCTV Security Camera item 844 9498 as a additional camera.
