Only fits on a smooth surface
I had trouble getting the suction to hold because the caddy did not sit straight but I put the suction holders onto glass on their own for a day before fitting underneath the 1st basket, not as the diagram shows, and it seems to holding fine now. They do not work on a textured surface or partly tightened

No Suction
Unfortunately, even after reading the reviews I went ahead and purchased this product for my son at university. Unfortunately one of the suctions does not work. It is holding by using just one, but not ideal.

Yes the Argos Home Suction Cup Wire 2 Tier Shower Caddy – Black will remain in place if the walls get steamy, as long as the wall is flat, the twist and lock action will keep this in place.

Having checked to see, this is designed to be removed so as to allow the suckers and the wall they're attached to to be cleaned. It's not a permanent fixing and you can take this caddy down put it elsewhere using its original suckers if you wish.
