The BT Premium Cordless Telephone & Answering Machine is designed for anyone who wants control over nuisance calls at home while staying connected across multiple rooms. This triple handset pack features a block button that lets you blacklist up to 1000 numbers with one touch, using truecall technology to filter unwanted calls. The mobile sync feature stores up to 1000 contacts from your phone and auto copies between handsets, while the 1.8 colour screen and guided setup make everything straightforward from the start.
It has large buttons for easy dialling, handsfree calling, call transfer, and internal calls. Redial the last 30 numbers, and outgoing call control manages who can dial out. The answer machine records up to 60 minutes with personalised options. Batteries provide 21 hours talktime or 240 hours standby, with 50m indoor and 300m outdoor range. Out of range and low battery indicators keep you informed. With 1000 name memories, 15 ringtones, caller ID, call log, and adjustable volumes, it handles calls brilliantly. BT. Premium Telephones
.Bought some Panasonic phones but the sound was awful even on speaker and at full sound, so took them back to Argos and bought these BT Premium triple phones. These were so different. They were easy to set up, had different ring tones and the sound was excellent. Very pleased with them.

Ok. Too light
The phone works ok. It was an upgrade from a previous (almost the same) model which we have had for years but seemed to have problems. However, the bases for the new phone have been made lighter and it is now difficult to place the phone in the base without it falling over.

Ok I suppose
Had it a few weeks and still trying to get to grips with it. Ringtones are limited considering how advanced it is supposed to be. Sound quality not as bad as some reviewers say. Haven’t tried Bluetooth link as I don’t want to mix up mobiles. Caller display and last calls not as good as Panasonic phone it replaces. Call waiting not working properly as it beeps but no number shows up. Has irritating blue light on base. Bought phone as new but batteries already installed and numbers had been saved so obviously not new! Tried returning to store but refused as not in resellable condition even though I was returning it as I had received it and there were faults with it. The previous purchaser must have had similar issues but they took it back as I did without any trouble.

Bought this recently, the set up was fairly straightforward though the many features took some getting to grips with. Also importing contacts from my iPhone presented some interesting problems.

Faulty
We bought this product but one of the wires on the main answer machine was faulty so the phones did not work. The Talktalk engineer replaced it so all good now but it really shouldn’t have been faulty as brand new!

It can be plugged into a Virgin Router if the router has a standard BT Landline port. If your router has a RJ-11 port, you can use a RJ-11 to RJ-11 cable, or use a BT phone line to RJ-11 adaptor. Depending which Virgin set up you are referring to:
This is designed for connection to analogue public switched phone networks and private switchboards in the United Kingdom. They are not DECT phones, and can’t be used plugged into a Virgin Media Hub.
However, they should also work on the new Virgin Fibre System when plugged into a Virgin Hub
With a Virgin Super Hub 5 router. You will need to plug the main base unit of the phones into the router.
