About this product
Block out unwanted light completely with this white roller blind that gives total darkness whenever needed. Its blackout design stops light from streetlamps, cars and early sun, ensuring undisturbed sleep or naps. Made from fabric with a PVC bottom rail and a smooth chain mechanism, it adjusts to the perfect position. Easy to trim for a perfect fit, the mechanism fits either side. Includes fixtures, fittings and clear instructions. Fits inside or outside window recess or on the wall. For child safety, always fit P clips or cleats to keep cords secure and out of reach.
The blind arrives with everything you need for installation, including a P clip that keeps the chain safely in place. It's been tested to meet the 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, so you can trust it's safe and reliable for everyday use. The Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm (708/4971) can be significantly trimmed in width to fit smaller windows, often up to 10–14 cm or more in total, as long as the fabric does not catch on the mechanism. The aluminum roller tube and fabric can be cut using a hacksaw and sharp scissors.

The width measurement includes both the fabric width and the brackets.
The allowance for the brackets is 3cm in total and the blind requires 19mm fittings.
For the actual width of the blind, please subtract 3cm.
The item is supplied with 4 standard 30mm screws.
