It is a fun idea and very appealing to my 4 year old, however it feels a lot cheaper than the barbies I remember as a child and I don't feel like the wings will work for a long time, though this remains to be seen! I think actually I would just get an ordinary Barbie in future for the dressing up element but she has enjoyed playing with it. It also felt like more plastic than necessary in the packaging.
