About this product
This train set has an electric train that runs along the tracks your child creates. The chunky pieces are easy to grip and connect, and there are 90 pieces in total. The tabletop is double-sided with different scenes on each side. You can flip it over to change the setting and keep play sessions interesting. The set includes a crane tower, plastic tunnel, 2 carriages, 2 cargo blocks, 2 vehicles, 10 road signs, bridge handrails, trees and bushes, building pieces, figures and 37 track pieces. The variety lets children build towns, landscapes and different routes.
The chunky pieces are just right for smaller hands, helping to develop hand-eye coordination as children piece together new layouts. The electric train adds movement and excitement to their creations. The table provides a dedicated space to keep all the pieces together. The crane tower and bridge pieces add height and interest to the play area. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Suitable for ages 8 years and over. One-year guarantee.

Very good build quality and my boy loves his trainset. However it woild be a lot better if the train tracks stayed togther a little more securely.

One very upset young man
The train never stayed on the track, some of the wooden track had been replaced with plastic. Followed all instructions to the letter, but the train kept de railing. Expect quality from Chad Valley but sadly not this time. Returned to Argos for a full refund.

“ The table is made up with 12mm thickness MDF, and total weight of whole product is about 10KG. The item has passed heavy immobile toys test in E71-1. If well assembled, seldom pushing should be okay. ”
