Hi There,

Liars & Lovers Gold Plated Sleek Snake Chain Necklace

On checking I can see this is stainless steel with a gold plating. While it can withstand occasional exposure to water, prolonged or repeated exposure to water, especially with chemicals like chlorine or salt, can damage the plating.
