I bought the xr65 8a about 2 weeks ago and it is amazing the picture quality is so good and build quality is top notch. The best tv I have bought to date cant fault it one bit and the sound quality is amazing to thanks sony

I bought the Sony BRAVIA 8A along with the Theatre 6 home theatre system, and both are absolutely amazing. The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colours and sharp details, and the sound from the Theatre 6 is powerful and immersive, making movies and music feel truly cinematic. I’m also using the BRAVIA 8A as both a PC monitor and a TV, and it performs perfectly for both. Text is clear, visuals are smooth, and it handles everyday work, gaming, and entertainment effortlessly. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this setup and would highly recommend it.

Great modern OLED
I bought this to replace an older AF8 OLED and the improvement to the UI and OS has been worth it. The picture is fantastic, OLED continues to me to be the best screen technology and now all my displays are OLED. I have an A95L for the main TV and this comes with a similar feature set, in terms of HDMI 2.1, VRR, 120Htz, great HDR, so again this is a great step up from the 2019 TV I replaced it with. Maybe the picture wouldn't survive a direct head to head with the A95L, but for the use case I have it is certainly as good as I need it to be. I had the refreshed 2025 version, which I believe differs only in the quality of the supplied remote, which is noticeably lighter than the metal version I have with other models.

Excellent new addition
We were delighted to buy this new Sony. We have had our last 42” Sony TV for over 20 years and wanted to upgrade. We saw this one and thought it was a good option to replace our now outdated TV. However I was sad to see we still cannot operate all our equipment with just one remote. We are unable to operate our Bose solo 5 sound bar which is a bit disappointing, but it just means we still have to use 2 remotes when I was hoping to get down to just 1. All that said it is Sony so you know the quality is great. We thought the 65” was going to be too big but so glad we went for it as it sits nicely into the original position of our existing TV and doesn’t look too large for the space. The colours are exceptional and as stated previously the quality is superb. I knew Sony was the only choice for us as we have not had any bad equipment from Sony and it does tend to last for years. The old Sony TV will be a great PC monitor and TV if needed. I would thoroughly recommend Sony as you can rely on them for quality, fabulous colours and equipment that will last for years.
