This is a Christmas gift and so not used product. However ordering and collecting from Argos was very quick and easy. Staff polite. Even wrapped up in a bag so my daughter didn’t clock it when I got back to car.

Making calls with your Apple Watch
With your iPhone nearby: You can make and answer calls as long as your watch is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
