I owned a corded KitchenAid blender for many years, but this one is a game changer, since you don't need to plug it, just pull it out of the drawer and start cooking. The only disadvantage is that it's not compatible with accessories from the corded version.

After all, I don't have to wonder if the cable will reach the socket. The hand blancer is small and lightweight heavy, which I consider its advantage. As I use it I feel it is better compared to other devices of its type. The blender is very handy, it performs very well, I prepared a cream soup in a couple of seconds. For a battery operated device it is very efficient. I think it is a very good product that. I will certainly recommend to friends and people who are going to buy it. I think it won't be the only product from the KitchenAid Go series.

Cordless hand blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender. This is the type of machine that you really want to have without a cord. So we were looking forward to put this KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender to some chopping duties and see if we like it as much or even better than the corded machines. We are a fan of the KitchenAid brand and we own several devices. This was our first ‘adventure’ with a cordless machine. The look&feel is not what we are used to, it has a more plastic look rather than the robust look&feel of the other KitchenAid machines we own. Also, we were worried about the battery life and the necessity of loading it too often to our liking. That worry was soon gone, after using it several times the battery was still showing all power lights on, so you basically need to load it once in a while. This we really like. Our second worry was if the cordless blender was strong enough to blend the ingredients and give the same results as a corded device. Although this KitchenAid does not look so robust and strong, it does give excellent results. Another benefit is that it is not a very heavy machine to hold, which makes it easy to use. What we do not like is the fact you have to press two buttons. We understand this is a safety feature, but one button that you really need to press in order to turn on the machine would have been safe enough. It is a minor detail, but perhaps a future model could have this designed better.

Cordless is the way to go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this product for a week now and it’s been such a breath of fresh air compared to the one with cord. It’s easy to charge and the battery lasts so long that I don’t have to charge it again yet. The only remark I have is that you have to push the unlock button quite hard simultaneously with the power button during the time that you’re mixing.
