Amazing battery that does it all
I recently purchased this power station for my camper conversion project. Initially, I had planned to acquire a battery, inverter, and solar charger separately. However, considering the cost of this power station compared to just the battery, and factoring in the additional expenses of an inverter, solar charger, and all the necessary wiring, it seems like an excellent value. While a separate battery might offer greater capacity, I believe this power station will remain useful even if I upgrade to a more complex system later. Although I haven't conducted extensive real-world testing yet, I have successfully used it to power a refrigerator for a period, run power tools during the conversion process, and even charge the van's battery using a 12V charger. It has performed admirably, and when paired with two 200W solar panels, it has proven to be largely self-sufficient. I highly recommend this power station; it seems like a worthwhile purchase.

Works all round
I order this item on line to be collected from the Arbroath branch of Argos..in the even the wrong power pack was supplied but the staff there were superb as usual and ordered the right one..big thanks to Caroline.. It’s worth adding that alhtough I have a nectar card I was unable to get my nectar pints for, this purchase..a regular problem with Argos and nectar..I spent two days with the chat help ans one phone call..many broken promises.. As for the product..I wanted a power pack for home due to regular power cuts..the capacity is about right as a short term back up supply for lights, to and fridge ..and the pack is not too heavy compared to models with greater power capacity..it has excellent connections too..my only criticism is although the app connects to Bluetooth and wi fi..it ends up putting you onto wi fi..not blue tooth..which is a bit silly as no wi fi if the power goes..

We need to know the power consumption of your table lamp, fridge, halogen hob, and phone. This information will help us calculate the exact runtime.
For example, the C1000 can power devices that consume 300W for approximately 2.8 hours.
Calculation: 1056Wh × 0.8 (conversion efficiency) ÷ 300W = 2.8 hours.

Hello Boots,
I can advise the following for the Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station - 1056Wh:
Yes, but length of time will depend on power draw.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello Amy,
The Anker SOLIX C1000 Portable Power Station has a 1056Wh capacity and a continuous AC output of 1800W (with a 2400W surge), which makes it powerful enough to run many household appliances and tools.
However, when it comes to charging an electric vehicle (EV), there are some important limitations. You can use it to trickle charge an EV using a standard Level 1 EV charger (typically 120V).
It would only provide a few miles of range (likely 3–5 miles) before the power station is depleted.
Charging efficiency losses and inverter overhead reduce the usable energy to around 850–900Wh
For a portable solution specifically for EV charging, you'd need a much larger power station (typically 3kWh or more) or a dedicated EV battery backup system.
Thank you for using Q&A
