My daughter purchased my Dyson as a Xmas gift absolutely love it. So easy to use it’s light weight and the suction is incredible the attachments are great. The battery life is very good, no need to charge often. If you’re thinking about purchasing one do. Would highly recommend . Very pleased with the product. Overall great performance.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and I am glad I did. Level of suction so much better than my last hoover. Also very easy to empty the dustbin. Robust. Good cleaning time from charge and relatively quick to charge.

I bought my Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner a month ago. I am very happy with the performance of this machine and the lasting battery. Easy to use and the filtration is brilliant, dust know chance to accumulate in corners or carpets. Attachments allowed you to reach all the corners,nooks and cranies to remove dirt. The vacuum cleaner moves easily over carpets and vinyl floors to enhance cleaning experience a pleasure.

Needed a compact vacume with no wires. I have two dogs and this picked up every bit of hair. This is brilliant on hard floors and carpet/rugs, leaves those lovely lines. Not heavy , very strong suction,emptied like a dream and love the way I can use hand held too. Battery lasted well. I use daily.

The Dyson website says the V8 unit DOES come with a wall storage dock - I presume you store the unit on the wall and simply plug into the charging plug.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Dyson V8 Cyclone Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
We would like to inform you that loop pile carpets are made with loops of yarn that can snag or fray if exposed to aggressive brushing. The Dyson V8 Cyclone Cordless Vacuum comes with a motorized cleaner head featuring rotating bristles, which are excellent for deep cleaning—but may be too harsh for delicate loop pile surfaces.
To ensure safe use:
Use the soft roller head or turn off the brush bar, if your model allows. This provides suction without agitation, making it safer for loop pile carpets.
Dyson also offers attachments designed for delicate surfaces. If you have the soft roller cleaner head (typically used for hard floors), it may be gentler on loop pile carpet.
Test a small area first to ensure no damage occurs.
Avoid high-power modes that increase brush speed and suction.
Regularly check for snagged fibers after vacuuming.
