A Solid Start for My Home Server

I recently picked up the UGREEN NAS DXP2800 — and as a tech enthusiast always eager to try new gear, I’m pretty impressed so far. The setup was straightforward: installing drives, hooking it up to my network, and configuring shares didn’t take more than 20-30 minutes. The web interface is clean and intuitive, letting me manage users, permissions, and shared folders without fuss. Performance-wise, the NAS handles streaming HD video and file backups smoothly over Gigabit Ethernet — I haven’t noticed any lag or slowdown. It feels stable and reliable, which is exactly what I want for a home server where I store photos, docs, and media.

Arrives with no disk,used WD RED 4 TB Plugged the leads and disk in,turned on using IPad app set up in 45 min!Most of the time it spent downloading software. Set up very easy no previous experience needed. Running for a week with problems. Definitely recommend especially if you’re a beginner but still good for more advanced user It is also a good quality build
