An excellent buy! I needed to upgrade from my otherwise excellent Moto g32 because the battery's daily life after overnight charge was shortening; it's done well for what must be 1300+ charges. News of the just-passed EU law forcing manufacturers to make batteries in ALL mobile phones REPLACEABLE from mid-2027 is most welcome therefore. That said, my new Moto g56 5G is an excellent, fast phone; the camera seems very impressive in that it seems to faithfully render evening shots [sunsets etc] without trying to "enhance" them - i.e. make them lighter/brighter... :-( The choice of ultra-clear fonts is wider than in earlier versions. The display is extremely crisp. The device will upgrade to Android 16 for you [from version 15]. As ever, it's always best/easiest to set up any new phone completely [over WiFi] before THEN inserting the SIM card last of all. Never be caught out using your SIM's data 'allowance' for any part of the set-up - unless (1) you have an unlimited data allowance, and (2) you've got loads of time while it chugs away!!

Not as easy as I thought it would be!
I bought this to replace my Samsung Galaxy A04s to move up to Android 15. However on transferring my contacts etc. over I now can't customise the ringtones for my friends, even though recently it updated to Android 16 I still cannot customise the ringtones. My other rant is like all operating systems, why do they all have to move everything around in the settings? When buying a new mobile/PC I don't want to have to sit there for however long to be able to use it the same way as I did before the upgrade. Last but not least is all the bloatware and having to set up an account to use certain apps. The following stars awarded are only approximate.
