Z flip 7
Had problems with transferring data from old phone to new. The e sim was no good. Had to have 3 sim cards before phone would work. All good now and z flip works well looks nice 👌

Great but lacking
First if all the best aspect about the Flip7 is it’s form factor. This is the first flip I bought so I can’t compare it with previous gens, but you barely see the middle dent and it’s light and compact. The only thing is that when unfolded, it is long, thin, and the weight is mostly at the top so it feels tiring holding it for too long without trying to slip; the weight feels unevenly distributed. That is one thing I’ve come to appreciate about slab phones ever since holding the Flip7. Otherwise it is fast, has a good screen, and it fun to use. However, cons of this phone (as someone who previously used Samsung/android until 2017): - android interface for some apps still feels outdated. On first Whatsapp install I ended up with a very 2013 look, but I had to uninstall it to get the updated version. - sometimes it feels like Samsung can’t decide whether it wants to use it’s native system/apps or use g00gle ones. - regarding apps, WHY do I have to download apps for very specific things? (Camera RAW for in-camera app advanced settings, or when it asked me to download an extra app to be able to log in my work emails on outlook). - it gets HOT on some applications. Like uncomfortably to the point I thought it was either going to blow up or melt. I know this isn’t a gaming phone but it’s 2026, processors should be able to handle the load with adequate cooling. It runs Genshin Impact ok, there is some lag but the initial graphics were horrible. I only need to play a quick 15 mins on workdays and it struggles to do that. - the cameras are abysmal. I have a IP11 that I have been using since 2020 and the Flip7 cameras are only marginally better (zoom in only). That is a 6 year old phone. Otherwise the image quality is blurry, washed out and the zoom out is grainy. Also why do I have to manually select 12mp or 50mp depending on if Im zooming or not? The phone boasts so much AI but it can’t even automatically select its best mode when taking images? - the battery charges fast but also depletes fast. - too much AI. I wanted to love it, it was supposed to be my big upgrade after 6 years but I was let down and decided to return it. Samsung please fix these issues for the next flip! I really want to make it my next device otherwise…

I don't think it'll last the 3 year contract, it all feels very flimsy, it only charges to 89% as well no matter how long it's been on charge.

My new flip 7
Quick and easy to use. Can access allsorts quicker. Nice and slim to look at. I've had zflip 3 and 5 thought 3 was better than the 5 but this ones better than both 3 and 5

It's only my third Flip - Flip! I've had the 3 and 5. Both of they're screens packed in. Expensive to repair, so now it's the 7fe. Bought from a well known company. They have a choice of returns, used etc. Just drilling my flip 5's case the camera's are bigger on the 7. You'll need a case because it's slippery on a surface. You think they'd put a case in the box, for the price. It's a bit cheap of Samsung, but they all do it. I was told by a phone salesman that the screen has a life span of a certain amount of open/close cycles. Shame because it's getting expensive! Hope the screen last's a bit longer on the 7fe. Don't bother buying a screen protector either, hard to fit because of uneven screen. I had phone shop's not wanting to do it. Great phone though.

Hinge issue
Used the phone for 6 days, and i was VERY careful. But on the 7th day the hinge started creaking everytime id open or close the phone. It was a shame cuz i reallt liked the phone but had to return it.

It's bigger quicker and so cool. Pictures are so clear. Bigger better for my eyes. Colour of z7 is fabulous. I love everything about it.
