PC Upgrade From Windows 10
Bought this laptop a few months ago as a replacement for my old Windows 10 desktop PC. Not used the laptop very much as not a heavy IT user. However, laptop is sufficient for my needs and does what I want it to do. Happy with purchase.

Faulty product - disappointing!
We had recently bought an identical laptop, which we were very pleased with, so when our daughter needed a laptop, it seemed an obvious choice. However, this one didn't work the very first time we took it out of the box. After googling some possible solutions, I had to do a forced start up to get it to switch on. I contacted Argos, who gave me an email address for an ASUS engineer. Unfortunately, the suggestions he made to solve the problem haven't worked. Each time the computer is shut down, a forced start up is required to get it to switch on again. I was disappointed that Argos did not offer to replace the laptop when I first reported the issue.

I bought this a month ago and till now it is working very well. No issue and very easy to setup.

ASU’s videobook
Bought it couple of weeks ago had it disappointed at all in anything I’ve used it for.

OK but an average screen
Starts up and shuts down very quickly and performs well but screen is disappointing. Full HD but colours are a bit washed out and really poor viewing angles - have to position screen absolutely perfectly to get the best picture. Typical TNS screen basically. Getting something with an IPS screen or paying a little extra for an OLED screen is probably worth it.
