Don’t know how useful it will be.
Very heavy, works with ipad but not iphone for some reason. No clear instructions. Only bought because the one I originally ordered was sold out.

Disappointing - takes 180 hours of solar to charge
The Solar Power Bank is wrongly named and disappointing. It is presumably really meant to be a power pack for campers who charge it up at home from the mains. The leaflet describes "solar top-up function" which better describes the way it works, as it states it needs 180 hours of solar to fully charge!!! So "Solar Power Bank" is really misleading.

Good energy cost saver
Very happy with this. Bought to save energy costs. Very efficient doesn't take long to charge from the sun on my window sill and charges my phone quickly. Can also charge from electricity if needed.

Huge potential, woefully executed
Planning on returning, charged device and was showing full charged but couldn’t be used to charge my phone. Very disappointed, this was supposed to be my backup option and it let me down badly.

The supplier has confirmed. The Menkind RED5 Solar Power Bank delivers a combined total output of 5V at 2A, which equates to a maximum charging power of around 10 watts.

I can advise that this power bank is charged via sunlight. So it does not come with any cables. It is possible to charge via a USB cable and plug, but these are not supplied.

I suspect the 5 hour charge time is using a usb charging lead. Considering the size of the unit, I suspect it would take a lot longer than 5 hrs to charge it with the panels.
