Excellent Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace 2x27" monitors. It's fantastic. Great wide screen, no deal pixels (is that a thing anymore?), easy to set up - supplied with HDMI and DisplayPort cables. Found the sound a bit odd that my laptop wants to default to using the LG as the audio device (there are no speakers!!), so I've plugged in a speaker to the headset port and that's working fine. I am sure I could disable the sound as a device, but my laptop is weird! I would have preferred the curve to be a little more curved, like a Dell one I sometimes use in the office, but it's perfectly fine. Overall, excellent value for money.

Brilliant quality screen for split screen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to help multi-tasking when working from home and screen works brilliantly with split screen functionality. The resolution is great and doesn't strain the eyes and the curve screen really helps screen view.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the LG 34WR50QK-B 34Inch 100Hz WQHD Monitor: ''As the monitor has a power source and can distribute power this would be down to whether the laptop can be charged via external power or if it must be mains power.''
