Biy this it's a steal for the price it really is..
I purchased this laptop 5 months ago thereabouts because my Lenovo i7 was reaching the end of its life and had lots of problems, a broken fan, a broken screen hinge, and a broken keyboard or keys in certain parts of the keyboard. I was also a bit tight for money at the moment.... I'll be brutally frank i was highly sceptical about whether it would be able to live up to my expectations after having/pwning/using a Lenovo i7 that cost £1100 for the previous 4 years. I thought this laptop for £349.00 (what i paid at the time from Argos) would be a joke..... But I have been proved wrong! It is much lighter weight and not at heavy as the i7.. But perfomance wise it holds up pretty well i can still do the video editing on it without massive delays or drama, as well as content creation, spreadsheets, office tasks, its great for Teams calls, and all round work. Now for the price i paid for this £349, and the price i paid for the i7 £1100 , i don't think there's enough of a difference to justify the £1100 price tag of a brand new i7 5 years ago..... So if youre having the same or simlar doubts as i was, i would recommend you to buy this one. I am not sure what price it is now but i paid £349 brand new and iam not disappointed with it at all...... Great price and performs better than i expected in this price range. I will certainly think 3 times over before spending over £1,000 on a brand new flashy laptop again, because this can do everything i need to do arguably quicker... My only other comment is if you do buy this laptop immediately deactivate the set settings so you can use Firefox or Chrome as your default browser and not be locked into Edge and Microsoft. That's what i did and it was easy to do in 3 or 4 minutes. Yeah if you do that your brand new i5 Laptop won't be Imprisioned by EDGE and Microsoft.

Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15AMN7
I bought my Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15AMN7 in the late spring, and have been using it through the summer and autumn. I live in Newport, the city with the highest tidal range in the world, and the winter air here is cold, wet and corrosive. A lot of electronic equipment does not survive a winter here. The true test is yet to come. The IdeaPad is very much faster than my old Toshiba laptop. Disc speed is much faster (I expected that), and internet speed is also faster (an unexpected bonus). The screen colours are much sharper, and the contrast is better, so images and photos which look drab on my old laptop look beautiful on the IdeaPad. However, I sometines lose track of the cursor as there isn't so much contrast between a white arrow and a bright background. Using Sony headphones, the sound quality from the IdeaPad is acceptable, but not quite as good as that from the old Toshiba laptop. The only glitch I have noticed so far is that occasionally the screen blacks out for about a second. I think this is a software problem (specifically Microsoft Edge) and not a hardware problem. The main limitation in the hardware specification, shortage of USB-A ports, is easily remedied: I have plugged a 4xUSB-A hub into the USB-C socket. This is so useful that Argos ought to consider bundling a USB-A hub as a freebie.
