I did a lot of research before purchasing this tv. I think the start screen is very busy but I’m sure I will be able to clean it up. The tv it is replacing was very cheap and old the difference is unbelievable,I can finally understand what people are saying and the picture is very sharp and has natural colour. I paid a lot more than I had originally intended but glad I did it was money well spent rather than money wasted. It is easy to view even in bright light and you can adjust brightness sound etc very easily and I am 77 years old and a bit no a lot doddery

4K delight
I bought this TV after years of using an old Sony 1080p and its picture quality is wonderful. The controller has a scroller similar to a pc mouse as well as a pointer to navigate the screen with ease. Some of the processing times between various apps and settings are a bit slow, but the sound and picture quality are wonderful. The brightness of the screen is exceptional so can watch in light or dark rooms with ease. Great for playing video games and watching films. For the price it’s a bargain

You don't need an aerial to use the TV, but you will need one if you want to access Freeview channels. This TV has Freeview Play, which is internet-based.

The LG 43 Inch 43QNED80A6A Smart 4K UHD HDR QNED TV does not have Freely pre-install and it does not have Freely in the app store.
This TV does have a built-in digital tuner for Freeview.
The following brands all have freely pre-installed: TCL, Toshiba, Bush and Hisense.
