I LOVE IT!
Possibly the best thing I've ever bought! I love the look of it, the sound of it and I enjoy exploring the tens of thousands of stations that it can pick up. It's very tactile with it's old style knobs and buttons and super easy to navigate. I like the fact that it has a headphone socket but to use wireless headphones you need to use a Bluetooth adaptor, which is a down side. All the sockets are underneath which isn't the most convenient place. However, that's a minor issue unless you do use a Bluetooth adaptor in which case it needs to have a long enough wire to go under the case or it needs to be small enough to fit in the recess where the sockets are. The battery pack is optional but odd that Argos don't sell it. Seriously, the radio is so good it follows me around the house so it soon became clear that the rechargeable battery was essential for me! Still 5* for design despite the location of the sockets, but knocked one off for features due to lack of a Bluetooth transmitter.

Superb sound, loud and beautiful.
Superb quality and sounds amazing. I bought the rambler max because it was the best version that can be used with the battery pack rather than rechargeable AAs. I’m really happy with my purchase. I would like to buy the revival istream but it doesn’t have the battery pack option, I really don’t know why?! I think Roberts is losing out not providing battery packs for other models.

Rambler Max Radio
Excellent radio with all the facilities we wanted, in addition to being portable so we can use it in our campervan.

Simply beautiful!
An absolutely gem of a radio, jam packed with cutting edge technology with sumptuous sound to match its looks. My late Grandad owned a Rambler from the 1970s so I was drawn to the design of this one. In world where most people can’t stop looking at their mobile phones, I can’t stop looking at this set! Simple pleasures are the best. Big thanks and well done to Roberts!

Classic style with state of the art technology
This is my 6th Roberts radio! One of them was for my daughter as a present but the rest have been for me. My first one is probably 10 years old but still working perfectly. What I like about the lastest ones are the classic style, some retro but with up to the minute technology. With Bluetooth l can listen to my iTunes library from my phone our music and programmes from the Internet. The best part is that it is a British company, although I know many components will be made overseas. Classic styling with modern technology.

Great radio but Bluetooth is unstable
I bought this product on release, I like the smart retro looks and the good audio but the Bluetooth connectivity keeps dropping meaning I have to regularly restore factory settings and reconnect to my music streaming device which is frustrating.
