About this product
The Aspire Atlantic Ottoman Bed helps you reclaim bedroom space without adding bulk. It's a kingsize bed with built-in storage underneath, so spare bedding, seasonal clothes, and extras stay out of sight but easy to reach. The gas-lift mechanism raises the mattress smoothly, no awkward lifting required. A pine frame with sprung wooden slats provides stable support night after night. The shaker-style headboard brings a clean, natural look that works with existing furniture. It's part of the Atlantic collection, finished in light wood that shows off the grain.
The end-lift design gives full access to the storage compartment below, which measures 33cm high, 150cm wide, and 200cm deep. The steel mechanism is designed for regular use and lifts the mattress platform securely. Sprung wooden slats distribute weight evenly and allow airflow to reach the mattress. The headboard fixes securely to the frame with included fittings. It arrives flat-packed with clear instructions for assembly, which takes between 45 and 120 minutes with two people. Great bed
This bed looks good and is great to have hidden storage. You need to follow u tube instructions and be organised for construction. But it isn’t difficult.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspire Atlantic Superking End Lift Ottoman Bed - White: The maximum occupant weight for a standard mattress is typically around 250 pounds (114 kg) per person, or a total of 500 pounds (227 kg) for a double-occupancy bed (full size and larger).
The mattress weight its self on a ottoman can is 65kg this is just for the mattress weight.

This has a fabric base under the ottoman part of the bed. There isn't a cover that goes on top of the items you are placing under the ottoman.
