The Aspire Atlantic Ottoman Bed gives you a tidy bedroom where everything has its place. There's generous hidden storage underneath that lifts open smoothly, so spare bedding, pillows and seasonal items stay out of sight but easy to reach. The solid pine frame provides reliable support, while the classic shaker design with clean headboard lines fits into most bedroom styles. Sprung wooden slats provide even mattress support, and the steel lift mechanism raises the base without any heavy lifting.
The end-lift design opens from the foot of the bed, so you can position it against a wall without blocking access to storage. Great bed and easy to put together
This bed looks great and the written and video assembly instructions are very clear. In addition the carefully numbered packets containing all the different screws made building this bed almost a pleasure (and WAY easier than the usual 'have a go' Ikea instructions). It definitely needs 2 people and you'll need 3-5 hours to complete the whole bed but it's worth it. The supporting ottoman spring mechanism is very strong and the stability is great. Storage is very ample. The parts are well made and it's a good price for this kind of build at home bed.

Otterman bed with mattress
We purchased the Otterman bed & mattress from the online store, which was easy to navigate and gave full details &measurements of the products. It arrived by courier & was easy to put together with the instructions issued as they were very easy to follow & each item was numbered or had an alphabetical reference. All in all a nice clean looking bed for the spare room.
