The Aspire Atlantic Ottoman Bed gives you a tidy bedroom where everything has its place. There's generous hidden storage underneath that lifts open smoothly, so spare bedding, pillows and seasonal items stay out of sight but easy to reach. The solid pine frame provides reliable support, while the classic shaker design with clean headboard lines fits into most bedroom styles. Sprung wooden slats provide even mattress support, and the steel lift mechanism raises the base without any heavy lifting.
The end-lift design opens from the foot of the bed, so you can position it against a wall without blocking access to storage. Fabulous, beautiful bed frame which my daughter loves. Classy, quality oak finish and absolutely huge storage underneath which fits her ever growing shoe collection perfectly! Quite easy to assemble and feels really robust. We purchased a small double ottoman but it feels so much bigger, Delivery was quick only a couple of days from ordering online. Great value for money, really pleased with our purchase.

Most uncomfortable bed ever
Bought this about 6 weeks back. AVOID BUYING AT ALL COSTS. The internal frame isn't level, the feet don't even all touch the floor inside the frame with some of them being almost an inch away from the ground. Literally the worst bed ive ever slept in and Im actually moving to my sofa most nights, a huge waste of money. CANT WAIT TO REPLACE THIS JUNK!

Not as good as the other reviews say
The headboard is very flimsy and makes a lot of sound like its cracking when i lean on it with my back. Even though all the screws are tight and the steps are followed properly. The pillers in the headboard is also shorter than the frame of the headboard. So the pillers moves up and down. One of the pillars cracked. upon regular usage within weeks. And some woods came slightly cracked.

Brought this bed for my daughter, when I left came the head board pieces are all marked and the side panels were literally cracked where you lift the bed bit up. Aspire did send out replacement parts, the sides were fine but the head board was still marked. Not worth the money in my opinion.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspire Atlantic Superking End Lift Ottoman Bed - White: The maximum occupant weight for a standard mattress is typically around 250 pounds (114 kg) per person, or a total of 500 pounds (227 kg) for a double-occupancy bed (full size and larger).
The mattress weight its self on a ottoman can is 65kg this is just for the mattress weight.

This has a fabric base under the ottoman part of the bed. There isn't a cover that goes on top of the items you are placing under the ottoman.

The height to the top of the side rails is 33cm, so the depth of the mattress you choose would be in addition to that in height.

The supplier has advised the following for the Aspire Atlantic Small Double End Lift Ottoman Bed - White:
"I am sorry, we do not have this measurement, however it would not be much more than the height of the bed closed." (The bed's full height is 102cm).
They also add this: "No this would not be stable, it needs to be either closed or open, on the newer revisions there is even a support bar to ensure it does not close while open. Similar to how a car bonnet its propped up with a bar."
