About this product
The Birlea Clover Velvet Bed Frame gives you a restful place to unwind with a cushioned winged headboard that supports your back when you're reading or relaxing before sleep. It's upholstered in soft velvet that feels comfortable against your skin, with pleated detailing and gold-finish feet that add character to your bedroom. The sprung slatted base sits sunken into the frame and adjusts naturally to where pressure's applied, so you get responsive support.
The frame holds up to 220kg total user weight and stands firm on those gold-finish feet. There's 13.5cm of space underneath if you need to sweep or retrieve anything that rolls under. The headboard's height gives you proper support while you're sitting up. Self-assembly's needed, two people recommended to handle the frame sections comfortably. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

Burley clover small double bed
Lovely bed, great colour in green. The only difficult thing about putting this bed together was the feet, having to screw into now holes that were started by the bed maker . Small double is great for a smaller room. Already have the burley pocket mattress.

Flimsy Central Legs. Light & Bed Moves Too Easily
The frame looks as I expected it to but it is quite light and flimsy in part. It moves too easily and as I have laminated flooring I wake up several inches along the room from where I went to sleep, forcing the screws in the two central legs to buckle, and my flooring is now scratched. It would likely be fine placed on non slip carpet. Sadly for me the bed is now propped up on 2 stacks of books.

This shouldn’t affect the structure of the bed if it were to be used without the legs; you would just need to ensure this is placed on a flat, even surface.
This would ultimately be at the user's discretion though and we’d still advise to use it with the feet as designed. Any faults caused by its use without the feet wouldn’t be covered by the item’s guarantee.
