About this product
The Birlea Clover Double Velvet Bed Frame gives you a comfortable place to rest your head against a cushioned winged headboard that supports evening reading or watching television. It's upholstered in soft velvet that feels gentle against your skin, while pleated detailing adds visual interest without fuss. The gold-tone feet lift the frame slightly off the floor, giving the bed a refined finish. It fits a standard double mattress, so you can use your existing bedding and mattress.
The sprung slatted base adjusts to where your body weight settles most, providing natural bounce and even support through the night. The frame sits 14cm off the floor, leaving enough space to hoover or store boxes underneath. The siderail stands 34cm high, keeping your mattress secure. Simple assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings and instructions provided. Comes with a manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Burley clover small double bed
Lovely bed, great colour in green. The only difficult thing about putting this bed together was the feet, having to screw into now holes that were started by the bed maker . Small double is great for a smaller room. Already have the burley pocket mattress.

Flimsy Central Legs. Light & Bed Moves Too Easily
The frame looks as I expected it to but it is quite light and flimsy in part. It moves too easily and as I have laminated flooring I wake up several inches along the room from where I went to sleep, forcing the screws in the two central legs to buckle, and my flooring is now scratched. It would likely be fine placed on non slip carpet. Sadly for me the bed is now propped up on 2 stacks of books.

This shouldn’t affect the structure of the bed if it were to be used without the legs; you would just need to ensure this is placed on a flat, even surface.
This would ultimately be at the user's discretion though and we’d still advise to use it with the feet as designed. Any faults caused by its use without the feet wouldn’t be covered by the item’s guarantee.
