After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Samsung 50 Inch UE50U7000FK Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV: ''The hexagon-shaped caps covering the four mounting holes on the back of your Samsung Crystal UHD U7000F TV are protective plugs, not screws. They are fitted at the factory to protect the VESA mounting threads during shipping.

To remove them and access the mounting threads, you can use one of the following methods:

Hex socket or nut driver:
Use a metric hex socket or nut driver that fits snugly over the outside of the cap (commonly around 10 mm). Apply gentle twisting pressure and the cap should loosen and pop out.

Flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool:
If the cap is press-fit rather than threaded, carefully pry around the edge of the cap until it comes free.

Needle-nose pliers:
If the cap protrudes slightly, grip it firmly and pull straight out with gentle rocking.

Please ensure the TV is placed face-down on a soft, padded surface (such as a blanket or towel) before attempting removal, and avoid excessive force to prevent damage.

Once the caps are removed, the standard VESA mounting threads will be exposed and ready for the bracket screws supplied with your wall mount (typically M8 screws for this model).''

This model supports Freeview via a standard TV aerial but does not include a satellite (DVB?S/S2) tuner, which is required to access Freesat directly through the TV.

If you would still like to use Freesat, this can be done by connecting an external Freesat set top box to the TV via HDMI, along with a satellite dish.''

Freeview as an App, no, but can access Freeview channels when connected to an aerial. However NowTV isn't available.

Hello Ricki. The Samsung 50 Inch UE50U7000FK Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV has Samsung TV which gives you access to large number of programmes etc. However, the TV also has Ethernet connection and Freeview can be accessed in this way too. Thanks for using Q and A.
