About this product
The 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector so if someone trips over it, the lead disconnects harmlessly and your MacBook Pro stays put safely. It also helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. In addition, the magnetic DC helps guide the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection.
When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector lights up; an amber light lets you know that your notebook is charging, while a green light tells you that you have full charge.
An AC lead is provided with the adapter for maximum lead length, while the AC wall adapter (also provided) gives you a compact way to travel.

Frustrating
I found this very frustrating. I bought it without realising it was for older MacBooks, and when I tried to return it about 30 minutes later, I was told it couldn’t be returned once opened, even though it was in the exact same condition. I understand this may be due to Apple policy, but it was disappointing since it doesn’t work with the newer MacBooks (which require MagSafe 2). I also felt the staff were not very flexible or understanding, even though they explained it was Apple’s policy.

Unfotunatly i bought the wronge item
in less than a week after buying the item i went to Argo store and they refused to return the item because it was open although I had the box and the packaging. I bought it for my my Mac pro but i discovered it is Magsafe 2 and I have Magsafe 3.
