A decent watch at a fair price
I'm surprised that there aren't many hybrid smartwatches around as I'm sure that there are a lot of people that want smartwatch features into something less sporty than a smartwatch. It's not the most advanced of smartwatches, but for what I need it for (discreet notifications, sleep and general activity monitoring) it's more than enough. The IOS app is very good, but the watch notifications would benefit from a slightly larger font. Totally worth it for its price.

Combining Analogue & Smart Perfectly
Combining the craftsmanship of an analogue watch with subtle smart technology. This watch is designed for those who value traditional but also the abilities of updated smart watch features. Compatible with iOS and Android; I use an iPhone and it works flawlessly. With over 100 dial options. I’m able to utilise the alarm, step counter, mobile notifications, sleep monitoring, activity tracking with multiple sports modes. Configured and controlled by the smart watch app on your phone. All whilst sitting in an analogue case. I’m thoroughly impressed. I opt to use this alongside my Apple Watch, for example, on nights out and more smart occasions. It feels like a proper timepiece and serves the purpose much better than any smart watch could. Analogue is simply the better looking device. And hybrid makes the most sense. Spot on from Sekonda. Powered by quartz movement with a silver stainless steel strap and buckle. 45.0mm case. 1.5 metre water resistance.

Sekonda Hybrid
I like the feel of the watch. You have the best of both worlds. Looks like a analogue watch but a twist of the wrist & you have a Smart watch. The face of the watch looks quite large but it's to be expected with a Smart watch. The strap is of a generous size. I have had to adjust the strap to accommodate my needs. I usually don't wear a watch with a metal strap as it usually pulls the hairs on my arms but not on this occasion. The watch took a little bit of setting up. There is no booklet with it as you have to download the app which is not a problem. So to summarise : I'm happy with the watch. I like all the different features it has, such as step counter, heart rate, sleep monitor ect...

Style suits every occasion
Suits every occasion with its design and is very responsive, battery life is great and its integration with my iPhone has been seamless. It’s light enough to not feel uncomfortable and is secure enough to not come off during activities

Solid quality watch with extras
This is an excellent, high quality hybrid smartwatch, which has a nice weight to it. It feels great quality, it’s perfect to wear to the office or the gym! I love how it just looks like a standard watch but I can answer calls, receive texts, check the weather etc, everything I need is on my wrist and it’s so easy and simple to use! I’ve had the watch for around 9 days now and still haven’t needed to charge it yet! Fantastic bit of kit!

Health Orientated Smart Watch
The Sekonda Hybrid smartwatch is well made from stainless steel and comes with a small magnetic USB cable for charging purposes. Being a hybrid watch means that most of the time it appears to be a normal analogue watch, when you lift the watch to look at the time the digital screen comes to life. It shows the number of steps, heart rate, and distance travelled. You can configure the displayed data in the companion smartphone app. When using the digital screen the hands cleverly move out of the way so the do not obstruct the view. The watch wears on the large size at 45mm, so not ideal if you have smaller wrists. Notifications are available but for some reason iMessages would not trigger. In summary the health tracking is ideal, but notifications could be better. Battery life was near the quoted 10 days in my usage pattern.

Not really user friendly
On getting the box the first impression is of quality and this is reinforced on opening. A very nice looking watch, good weight and quality feel, first problem came on putting it on, the strap was far too big for my wrist, I looked for adjustment but there didn't appear to be any. I scanned the code and downloaded the app hoping to find information there but the instructions were apart setting up the watch, not wearing it. I contacted a local jeweller who said he could take out links to make it fit but it would cost £20 or I could probably do it myself so I looked on line and and found out how to adjust it by removing the links with arrows on, fiddly but as I have small tools it was not really a problem in the end. Once I had paired it to my phone and set it up, which was very straightforward I tried to use some of the features but failed, whether I am missing something in the instructions or am particularly dense I don't know but I can scroll through all the features but they won't open for me on the watch. Some features open in the app and it was nice to be able to check my BP, oxygen levels and sleep, to do this you have to keep the watch on overnight and then the next slight issue cropped up. To activate the watch you either press the button or you can "twist" it. This means if you move your arm in the night it lights up the room, bit annoying. On the third morning I checked my sleep record and there wasn't one but the next night it recorded it. similar thing with the other history, some days record is there, some not recorded. I like it as a watch and it has held it's charge for a week now which I think is excellent but overall I am not impressed, possibly it is faulty, possibly I am. I will give it to my 19 year old son and see if he has any more luck with making the feature work. One other thing, the display is tiny and hard to read.

Best of both worlds
A good quality feel and large strap length. Modern but with hands you can see at a glance. Looks like a good old conventional watch but with a depth of technology within. I’m senior so don’t like tiny computers on my wrist, but love what they offer so this watch fits my image but still tracks my progress. Absolutely first class
