My second ASUS laptop
Very sleek and compact with an overall decent system. The screen appears bigger than you would think and quality is high. Make sure you keep the laptop and screen protected. With the slim screen, even a small knock can result in hundreds in repair costs.

The future of low powered computers
I've only had the laptop for a day or so and have spent that time migrating software which I use onto this new system. This included using STEAM.. for gaming and OBS broadcasting.. The vivobook is amazing.. The oled display looks fabulous.. The model I bought uses the latest amd ryzen 7 processor which boasts claims of over 10 hours of battery life of one charge which is by use of USB c type connection (uses less power than the Intel processors and far superior in my opinion ), facial recognition to unlock it and a rgb back light keyboard. I loaded battlefield 4 from steam onto this and I was impressed by the quality of the gameplay (I was using low power saving settings at the time). All of the updates to Windows 11 and Asus went smoothly. It's slim, lightweight and charges quickly. Having such low power claims made this the perfect choice for my needs.. So far so good..

Hoped for better
The spec as they relate to price seem good for this laptop. I may be a bit bias because I have been using Windows 10 and now has to use 11 which has things I don't like. Anyway, from the outset I was getting a very brief occasional black screen. After a while this appeared to be related to driver/s which needed to update. It also didn't seem keen on Google Chrome but OK with Explorer. Irritating that 'out of the box' I had to go to support to get it to work properly. Support was OK but I think I just got a generic answer and I don't even think it was an ideal solution. I found navigating around the ASUS website and registering a pain. I find the keys a fraction too close so I more easily mistype. Also I had an issue with the keyboard's illumination fading out after turning on and found that I needed to set to a high rate to ensure it stayed on. The image is very clear and at high brightness very stunning, however this means battery power drains much quicker and far from the hours claimed. Haven't done much with it so far which means this review is limited. Based on my experience I could not recommend it.

Fast and OLED screen is really vibrant
I was looking for a laptop that would be suitable for video editing and this has been great. Realtime previews are no problem and output rendering time has gone from over 2 hours on my old machine to 10 minutes on this. The OLED screen has amazingly rich colours and the high screen resolution is ideal for displaying the multiple windows typical of video editing software.

Asus Vivobook 15s
I've had this laptop for almost 2 weeks now, it's extremely fast and connects to Bluetooth devices almost instantly (Logi Mouse). For extra storage I connected an External Samsung SSD to which had to be partitioned. It will mainly be used for creating drone footage and photo's whilst on my travels. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely Recommend.

Excellent Laptop
The picture quality is far superior than any other Laptop that I have had. To prevent screen burnout Asus recommend using dark mode. The keyboard is backlit.Very subtle and not obtrusive. The Touchpad is large. Performance is good. Black is a fingerprint magnet. So far,after 2 weeks, I have no regrets and I can certainly recommend it.
