Brilliant piece of kit with great features
Bought this a couple of weeks back and has been great using it

Good monitor, terrible monitor stand
Screen is great, but the monitor stand is plasticy and has no height adjustment. Unless you like tilting your monitor up to face you, or you're a hunchback, I'd steer clear. Because of the non-standard fitting on the back of the monitor it's also hard to find a compatible 3rd party stand. Not the quality of design I'm used to from Samsung... :(

Incorrect refresh rate
Claims to have a 165hz refresh rate but when I go into settings on the monitor the max is 100

Our supplier has advised that the Samsung Odyssey G5 34 Inch 165Hz WQHD Gaming Monitor would have black lines around the screen as the Xbox Series X doesn't support wide screen.

Yes it does support 1440p @ 60fps, and no it wont resize image.
The only exception will be if the specific game doesn’t support this, then it may default down to 1080P.
