Good basic model
I would regard this as a basic greenhouse, it is a bit flimsy, but reasonably good. I didn't have space for a larger greenhouse but there's plenty of room for a few tomato plants and I plan to put in a small 2-tier bench. I would be fairly competent at self-assembly furniture etc. and I put this up without any assistance. You need to spend quite a bit of time getting the base frame level and square. Invest in a few dozen M6 washers and use them as much as possible, especially on the plastic bits (the nuts just pull through the plastic when tightened). Fitting the door was probably the most tricky bit & the door handle/catch is awkward. Now it's assembled, I'm happy with it. Hopefully it withstands next winter!!

Perfect
Good quality greenhouse and perfect for what I needed. Fairly easy to assemble but quite time consuming. It took me a day and a half to assemble this by myself but would probably be much easier if two people were putting it together. Everything fits together quite nicely and it seems to be quite a sturdy construction.

It was an awful waste of money. So flimsy. When I first opened it up, what I thought was packaging was part of the actual structure. Things didn’t fit properly and some of the instructions were a bit vague I ended up having to undo bits. Glad I took it back down again because it would have ended up a twisted mess in my neighbour’s garden that weekend. Don’t waste your money! Save a little more and buy one a bit better xx

You can check the foundation instructions too on the assembly manual at starting pages. After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Palram – Canopia Hybrid Greenhouse, Silver, 6x4: You can't change them out, but you can connect a water butt with a pipe or tube if you wish.

You can use concrete slabs as a base, how many would depend on the size of the slabs. The base measures 126cms x 185cms, we would recommend the slabs when laid are slight bigger than the base measurements.
