Good for the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the money it’s good. It connects easily to my Amazon fire tv stick via Bluetooth and can turn it off and on and adjust volume via fire tv remote. There’s not a way of turning off LEDs at the front which would be useful. I’ve found it works well in a small room.

Excellent value for money sound bar
Have tried two previous sound bars for our failing age related hearing. Only required for watching TV. This LG is best by a country Mike, at last we can hear the telly clearly. Worth every penny

Great value for money
First time trying a sound bar. Definitely improves sound quality. It doesn’t show the volume setting on the tv, due to not having a hdmi slot to connect it to the tv.

Average
This would be ok for a small bedroom but in a large front room its no louder then the tv. I returned it because of this.

Hello Trev,
The supplier has advised the following for the LG SQM1 2Ch All-In-One Bluetooth Soundbar:
"This will rely on the type of Bluetooth hearing aids, the soundbar is a receiver so something has to connect to it, it can't decide and choose what it connects to. The other device has to be able to pick the soundbar to connect to, so that is what I mean by it depends on the hearing aids whether it can do this or not."

Hello there,
Both Majority and LG sound bars have their strengths, but let's break it down to help you decide which one might be better for your Hitachi 32HB26J61U TV.
Majority Sound Bar
Pros: Majority sound bars are known for their affordability and decent sound quality. They often come with features like wireless connectivity (Bluetooth) and compact designs.
Cons: They might not have the same level of sound quality or advanced features as more premium brands.
LG Sound Bar
Pros: LG sound bars generally offer better sound quality and more advanced features like Dolby Atmos, Meridian Audio, and DTS:X. They are well-built and have good connectivity options.
Cons: At the same price point, you might not get the high-end features, but LG sound bars are still a solid choice for overall performance .
Connection for Your Hitachi 32HB26J61U TV
For the best audio quality, you should use the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) connection. This allows the sound bar to receive audio directly from the TV and control the volume with your TV remote. If your TV and sound bar both support HDMI eARC, use an HDMI 2.1 cable for enhanced audio quality.
If HDMI ARC is not available, you can use the optical audio output on your TV to connect to the sound bar.

Hello Dave,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the LG SQM1 2Ch All-In-One Bluetooth Soundbar: ''No this unit only has capability to connect via Bluetooth and Optical cable.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Nici,
From the information we have available, I can advise The LG SQM1 2Ch All-In-One Bluetooth Soundbar should work well with most smart TV apps, including Netflix and YouTube. It features Bluetooth connectivity and an optical input, which are designed to provide a stable connection and consistent audio quality. However, the performance can sometimes depend on the specific TV model and how the soundbar is connected.
To avoid issues like sudden volume changes or strange noises, here are a few tips:
Ensure Proper Connection: Make sure the soundbar is properly connected to your TV, preferably using an optical cable for a more stable connection.
Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for both your TV and soundbar. Keeping them updated can resolve compatibility issues.
Adjust Audio Settings: Look into the audio settings on your TV and soundbar. Sometimes, enabling features like "Auto Volume" or "Sound Sync" can help maintain consistent audio levels across different apps.
Check Compatibility: Ensure your TV's audio output settings are compatible with the soundbar. Some TVs have specific settings for external audio devices that need to be configured.
Hope this helps
