What it says on the box.
I have long hair. My tog has a short moulting coat. My previous vacuum was useless. I had to clear the rollers daily. My shark is brilliant, perhaps a tad heavy for my old bones. It's easy to empty and I'm quite comfy using it on the stairs. No longer do I have to check under the machine. Result.

I bought this to replace a Shark cordless that I have had for years. I am happy enough withb how the new machine performs suction wise, however I wish that I had not "jumped in" with my purchase. The new Shark is flimsier than my old machine and only has one battery which is a bind when it goes dead half way through doing my work. Apart from that it does the job that it was purchased for.

Had this about 3 months now. Pros: Suction is quite good on different floorings. Flexibility and maneuver ability is very good. Cons: Emptying the collector s a bit of a faff, the dust collector would benefit from having it's own handle to make removing/installing easier. The battery runtime is not very long, usually lasts about 25-30 minutes with boost.

Easiest vaccum I've ever had
I bought this to replace my huge elderly Dyson. Was a shock first of all. Lighter, no cord, seemed not to be as good. However after a few uses I am well impressed. It gets in where the Dyson couldn't. It's lightweight and easy to use. Simple to empty and fold in half for storage. The charge last for the whole house. I recharge it when finished so I'm ready to go again!! Wouldn't go back to the overpriced dyson.

Lightweight and Manoeuvrable
I previously had the corded version of this vacuum cleaner but with increasing arthritic problems I switched to the cordless one. It is so much lighter and much more manageable and the suction is brilliant. I am very happy with it.

Super for the stairs
We bought this to replace a corded upright vacuum cleaner that had a damaged cable. I love the maneuverability and flexibility of different heads and handle length. It's fantastic for the stairs and getting into awkward spaces. Just 2 drawbacks, we keep forgetting to charge it after use, this can easily be fixed by remembering to do it, but the cannister does seem to need to be emptied very often and hair does get tangled round the brush. Overall quite happy with the purchase.

The roller of this vacuum cannot be removed for cleaning. We recommend using a soft cloth to clean the brush once the vacuum is switched off.
In order to access the Pre-Motor filters, you need to press the dust cup release button, and remove both filters out from the back of the dust cup, and for the Post-Motor filter, you need to remove the dust cup and then pull the filter out from the handvac.

If you have a loop pile carpet, we recommend trying the vacuum on a hidden area first in order to ensure the brush rolls do not unpick carpet fibers.
