Children can interact with 20 fantastical virtual characters that respond to touch, swipes, tilts and shakes with sounds and silly reactions. Each magical creature starts as a baby and grows with care. Kids can nurture their digital pets by feeding, playing, rocking them to sleep and showing love. As they play, they'll unlock more characters including Nessie, Kittycorn and Phoenix. For children aged 3 years and over.
Features new ways to play including earning potions to change character colours and using the Magic Wand to cast spells. Children can crack gems to attract creatures and watch them grow from babies to Super Bitzees. The toy encourages creative storytelling.

Do not buy if you struggle with flashing lights
There was no warning online that this product flashes and I got it for Christmas for my child who has epilepsy. Very unsafe. Still waiting for the product safety team from argos to call me back. There should be a warning when purchasing it.

Bitzee Magicals Figures
You cannot choose a specific animal when you purchase a Bitzee Magicals figure case; the initial pet you get is a surprise. However, the toy is designed so that you can unlock and collect all 20 different magical characters within a single pod through gameplay.
You don't need to keep purchasing new cases to get the one your daughter wants. All the pets are included in the same device and can be unlocked by playing with and caring for the initial pet.
How to Collect All the Characters
Start with one: Each Bitzee case starts with one baby animal (or two gems in the Magicals version).
Nurture and play: By feeding, playing with, rocking to sleep, and caring for your pet, its "love meter" fills up, and it grows from a baby to an adult to a "Super Bitzee".
Unlock new pets: When a pet becomes a Super Bitzee, you earn treats or gems, which can then be used to attract and unlock a new, surprise pet to your collection.
Collect them all: You can repeat this process to collect all the available characters in that specific Bitzee edition (15 in the original, 20 in the Magicals version). They are stored in a virtual "castle" or "treasure chest" menu inside the device, allowing you to choose which one to interact with after it's unlocked.
