It prevents the scam calls
All is well with this telephone apart from the call blocking which has caused a problem to some of my regular callers. However I have not had a scam call since my purchase, so for that reason I am happy.

Ideal for older folk
My eight-eight year old mom could never hear the phone ring as true to how things used to be done, the only landline phone was in the hall. These are great as suddenly there are an additional 3 phones ringing ! Easy to set up note only one needs to be connected to the line but all 3 need a power supply. Easy set up and can be placed throughout the house. Amplify button on side helps as she does not hear well. Can be set to auto answer when lifted off charger and auto hang up when replaced so less for her to worry about. Excellent and good value. Easy pick up from Argos. Leave them 16 hours to charge initially then just replace them on charging unit when not in use.

Replacement for same system which had just run out of steam after many years of good service. Found easy to set up. Works well with hearing aids and amplify mode very useful if quietly spoken person calling.

I'm happy with the phones, the large number buttons are easy to use. The reason I haven't given this set of phones 5 stars is when I have an incoming call it doesn't announce the callers name if it is known. The facility is there but I presume because I'm not a BT customer this facility doesn't work, it did on my old phones.

I had a BT phone for over 15 yrs.When it went wrong I found just what I wanted in Argos It’s so easy to set up I’m 80 yrs old and I found it easy.
