Value for money
Nice long cable but only if socket is nearer window. I still needed an extension cord. When detecting the video doesn't always film the person until they are out of view. Night camera gives excellent clarity (keep on day mode at night for better picture) but will be affected by reflection from lights inside or out. Panning is good, so good that branches moving or even birds are tracked. Audio not perfect. A bit crackly. Rewatch recorded vids up to 16x speed. Notifications when camera picks up a moving object is very good even when away from home (internet willing). The qr code enclosed is too small to read for instructions. Some settings are done by trial and error. Over all, very good.

Great security
Cheaply priced but it does not compromise on quality. Easy to set up and realistic on monthly cost to continue recording. I can highly recommend this as on my own and wanted to secure my home.

Excellent value for money
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Excellent value for money** I bought the **Tapo C200 1080P Full HD Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Home Security Camera** to keep an eye on my elderly relative when she's at home on her own, and it has been absolutely brilliant. The setup was quick and straightforward, and the picture quality is excellent for such an affordable camera. The pan and tilt function lets me check every corner of the room remotely, and the night vision is surprisingly clear. I also like the motion alerts and the two-way audio, which means I can speak to Mum if I need to. At just **£18.99**, I genuinely can't believe how much this camera offers. It has given me enormous peace of mind knowing I can check in on Mum whenever I need to without disturbing her. If you're looking for an inexpensive indoor security or care camera, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one. Outstanding value for money.

Great camera
Can’t really fault this for the money it’s better than stuff I have at 5x’s the price. It was a little bit of a fluff to get it to connect, but having said that, I did buy a second camera which connected far easier. The app is responsive. Audio is fine. The image is clear. Night vision is good. I’d recommend this.

Good bit of kit and good price...
I bought this a week ago for my parents we have it inside the kitchen and best thing we ever did. I can see that they are ok and it works well even when lights are off. It moves well and is easy to use through the app.

Brilliant for the money.
I bought this a week ago, and it is the second one I have purchased. It is excellent. You can't go wrong for the price. The audio is clear, as is the night vision, panning in and out, or up and down. I don't use it for detection. I use it to make sure my husband has not had a fall, after being taken ill. It gives me peace of mind whilst at work or out shopping etc.

Tapo C200
This is my Second Tapo C200 to replace the one I had damaged. Works perfectly and does what I want it to. Picture and Video quality is pretty good. Attatcj it to wsll/ceiling or table, it works perfecn̈tly. It will detect movement and the coverage is pretty decent. Nightvision might only be black and white but still decent. It responds very well to movement

Hello Linda,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tapo C200 1080P Full HD Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Home Security Camera:
"Based on our knowledgebase, most Tapo cameras, including the Tapo C200, only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and cannot connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Please ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal and that the camera is within range of this network for proper operation. If your router is in another room, you may need to check the signal strength of the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi where you intend to place the camera. If needed, you can use Wi-Fi range extenders or mesh systems to improve coverage."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Linda,
The Tapo C200 only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), and it is not compatible with the 5GHz Wi-Fi band. Therefore, if your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks (as most modern dual-band routers do), you will need to connect the C200 to the 2.4GHz network.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello,
Regarding your recent query about the Tapo C200 1080P Full HD Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Home Security Camera.
I can confirm yes, the Tapo C200 will absolutely still record without a paid subscription.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi,
The Tapo C200 only supports Motion Detection. The Tapo camera sends a notification to your phone when motion is detected, or you can set an alarm for the camera.
