About this product
The Habitat Storage Mid Sleeper keeps everything organised in smaller bedrooms with limited space. It's a single bed with a swing-out desk featuring built-in shelves, three drawers for clothes and bits, and a wheel-out chair with hidden storage under the seat. Shelves under the ladder steps and a long shelf along the bedside provide space for books, toys and school things. The beech frame with wood effect finish has curved edges for a natural, modern look. It includes a 15cm deep Habitat Kids mattress, foam free, chemical free, and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep.
The mattress has 323 open coil springs that give medium firm support for growing children, with a knit cover and flat top finish. It's single sided, so you won't need to turn it, just rotate it regularly to even out wear. The bed has wooden slats included and safety rails at 30cm high. Maximum user weight is 100kg, so it's suitable for ages six years and over. Wall-mounting is essential for stability, that's really important for children's furniture. The ladder's in a fixed position for safety. Assembly takes two people, follow the step by step instructions. It comes with a one-year guarantee.

Great bed for young kids, desk and storage
Child loves it. Lot of extra storage in room. Good bed, good instructions and clear but takes a while to put together as lots of parts, Make sure you measure out space for how big desk space needs to swing out. Again only minor issue one set of nuts of different depths were in same packet, where everything else was separate packets - would be better if separate packets as easy to use wrong size earlier in steps had have to retrieve it.

Love this bed!
Got this bed for my 4 year old son. He absolutely loves it! He loves that he can hide in his little boy cave. He says he loves it so much. I love the storage. Will 100% recommend this bed.

Very nice bed
Bought this for our 4 years old, love the fact that it does have a steps instead of ladder - a bit safer for younger kids. Nice storage space. Takes a bit if time to put it together but once done it is very sturdy.

A brilliant bed
We looked at a few different beds and reviews. Whilst most were positive you never know. It took some building but once complete it exceeded our expectations. Our little boy loves it and both children love playing underneath the bed, something we didn't realise it had until it had arrived

Excellent Storage Mid Sleeper and Mattress
The Storage Mid Sleeper and Mattress is very good and is very complete and very pretty, I have put it in my daughter's room, the quality could be better but I can't complain about the price and all the extras it has, you have many functions and serves very well to store my daughter's things, highly recommended

Disappointed doesn't cover it - Don't buy this bed
I bought this bed after reading lots of reviews for midsleepers and it seemed that this was going to be a good quality bed. We have other Habitat furniture which is great quality and we love it but the quality of this bed for the price, is awful. We knew it would take a long time to build, that's ok. But, after spending all that time we didn't expect a product with a very poor finish. Kids beds need to be durable, this is certainly not. Within 2 climbs of the steps by our daughter who is quite petite, the trim was falling off the step! Also, one of the panels arrived damaged but by the time we had put the bed together it was too late to take it apart and send it back as she would have no-where to sleep. The stickers provided to cover the many screw holes are cream rather than white so look very cheap. We put a water bottle on the desk (a childs desk which might get a few drops of water on it) and within a few minutes there was a ring mark which hasn't gone away. The finish on the trim is not good quality and the underlying material shows through. I bought this at full price as I timed it badly which might have been ok if I was happy with the bed. I tried to contact Argos customer service online as suggested but ended up talking to a bot that didn't understand the problem. Having the helpline as the only other way of contact is not very accessible. There is no email to contact and as this product seems to have many faults I felt I wanted to send photographs. I'm very disappointed and would like my money back so I can buy a better bed. I was hoping this would last at least 5 years but it's already broken. The reason for this review is so that you don't make the same mistake I made. Don't buy this bed! - Argos can I have my money back?

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ultimate Storage Mid Sleeper and Mattress - White: The drawer cupboard is fixed to the bed side panel as part of the supporting, there is some space underneath the sleeper but unlikely sufficient for a mattress.

Desk size H70, W120, D50cm. All parts are pre drilled so will need to be built to size. It is recommended to have it pulled out fully.
