Bought as a replacement to a more expensive brand.
I purchased the Guild sander as it is compatible with the Guild wet and dry vacuum which I already have. I have another more expensive sander but this wasn’t compatible. The sander works really well together with the vacuum. An added bonus is the sander plate is dual use, accepting the longer 235-240mm sheet using the clips, or the looped shorter sheets 193mm which adhere to the plate.

Don't buy
I bought it to sand some drawers down. Half way through the sander started to spark inside. Then just stopped. I will be taking it back.

Ok for light use
I bought this to sand down some varnished shelves. Even with a very rough sandpaper sheet it struggled to make an impression. So ended getting a belt sander to do the majority of the job. This sander was ok for doing the final finish with fine sandpaper for the shelves. The dust collection is almost non existent so whatever you sand down with creat a mess.
